Dr. Rajendra Kumar Premchand MD,DM, FACC
Dr. R. K. Jain DM, FACC attended Kurnool Medical College and Hospital, Andhra Pradesh where he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees. He finished most of his residency training in Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad from where he is Senior Fellow in Cardiology and has also earned his Fellow in Cardiology (D.M). He later served as Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. In 1999 he was Fellow in interventional Cardiologist at University of Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris. Dr. Jain is one of the handful of Cardiologist in the country who was awarded both the Fellowships of the American College of Cardiology as well as the Fellow in Interventional Cardiology from University of Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris.Dr. R. K. Jain is serving the KIMS Hospital as Director and Head of Department of Cardiology. Dr. Jain has performed over XXXXX cardiac procedures. His expertise includes cardiac catheterization, arteriograms, angioplasty/stenting, and pacemaker placement. Dr. Jain was a pioneer in starting cardiac programs at this hospital.
Dr. Jain has to his credit many publications both National and International. He also proctors junior attending cardiology in doing newer and advanced cardiac procedures. He was awarded and honored at multiple platforms for the excellent work in the field of Cardiology.
Dr. Jain has penned a chapter in a book called “Tenth Complex Coronary Angioplasty Course Book of Endovascular Therapy” held during May 18-21, 1999.
